Belvoir Home Care is guided and adheres to lawful practices and guidance i.e., Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

As part of the services we offer, we are required to process personal data about our clients, our staff and on occasions friends and relatives. Any data collected from our contact (with you our client or staff member), whether it be by telephone, email or face to face will remain confidential and only used on a need-to-know basis.

We understand that privacy and security of personal information is of paramount importance. We are committed to being transparent about why we need your personal data and what we do with it. This information is set out in this privacy notice. It also explains your rights when it comes to your data.

What information do we hold? 

· Clients: Your basic details and contact information, ie. emergency contacts / NOK, financial details. With your permission we may also hold ‘Special Category’ data such as Physical and mental health information, medication, and information about your race, ethnicity, gender etc. 

· Staff base: Your basic contact and next of kin details, financial details so we can pay you, pension details, training records. With your permission we may also hold ‘Special category’ data such as physical and mental health information to allow you to receive a work risk assessment and statutory sick pay We do not keep DBS information once we have seen it.

Your information is only used to provide, review and improve the quality of care provided. It is shared by Belvoir Home Care to provide you our clients and staff with a better service.
