We have a skill (even if we do say it ourselves) of picking carers who really want the best for their clients. They do the job for the love of it, and this results in close relationships and bonds being formed with the client base they are allocated to.
We firmly believe that care can only be given and received effectively, when the right carers are matched to the right clients. All of our management team also attend care calls, which means if there is a problem, they are able to assist as they too have a personal knowledge of the clients we support. And we don't employ agency support If we don't have capacity for new clients, we will wait until we have the staff before taking them on.
We advertise ourselves as 'The small company with BIG ideas. As a family ran business, there are no management tiers to go through to implement change. If we see something that can improve our service, we will try it! This can be from client feedback, carer feedback, or just noticing a gap and filling it. we therefore strive to be innovative and ahead of the game in many areas. When the business was set up in 2011 we were one of the first in our area offering call times of an hour minimum. We are one of very few homecare companies offering company wide days out and get togethers. We will continue to strive for these extras to enhance the lives of the people we support.
