With our minimum call length being an hour, our team of carers have opportunity during visits to encourage their clients to take part in their support. This may include cooking, physio, exercises or indulging in a little reading.
This relaxed and person-centred approach is how our team work best. It promotes the independence of our clients, which in turn boosts their self-esteem.
We pride ourselves on our personal touch and aim to match skill sets and personalities amongst our carer base with the clients they attend. To achieve this, the registered manager oversees the recruitment and training of all new care staff. The manager visits each potential client prior to support commencing to ensure the correct personalities and skill sets are matched.
We have a very close knit relationship between our carers and clients with every team member being on a first name basis with each client and their relatives.
