Being a family ran, independent business, we have the flexibility to carry out support our way. We are passionate about ensuring a holistic approach to every care visit. With our minimum call length being an hour, we have time during visits to encourage independence and participation in a supportive and relaxed way, which in turn promotes independence and boosts self esteem, allowing our clients to remain at home for longer.
We pride ourselves on the personal touch and try to match skill sets and personalities amongst our carer base with the clients they attend. To achieve this, the registered manager oversees the recruitment and training of all new care staff. She then visits all potential clients personally, prior to support commencing, to ensure that the correct personalities and skill sets are matched.
One of the nice things about not allowing ourselves to become too big is that every team member is first name terms with all of our clients and their relatives / advocates, which extends the family feel.

We are proud of our excellent reputation locally. Most of our client referrals are recommendations from local district nursing teams, GPs, existing clients or their relatives.
We were one of the first independent providers in our county to go completely paperless with our care and support plans. Our clients and anyone nominated by them, can therefore have 24/7 access to rotas; so they can see who is scheduled to attend their calls at what time, and all information we hold about the client; including support plans, risk assessments and care reviews.
As a lot of our clients have relatives living further afield, the feedback is that having real time access to this information, is a great source of comfort, support and transparency, allowing them to have full involvement in their relatives support, despite not living locally.
