Our Recruitment Process

Stage 1 - Attracting Candidates

We recruit from a variety of methods, internet, social media, our website and Facebook page, posters, recommend a friend scheme,  leaflets, recruitment events and recruitment sites.

Stage 2 - Selection for First Screening

All staff who apply will have a telephone interview with the manager to find out why they are interested in the role and ascertain fundamental requirements such as criminal convictions, if deemed suitable candidates are sent documentation to fill in and send back, they are then invited to interview.

Stage 3 - Interview

Staff are invited for interview with the manager who will ask them a variety of questions in a variety of styles and introduce them to the office team, assuming this goes well, references are sent off for and an enhanced DBS check is carried out.

Stage 4 - Training

Our in house trainer will spend between 3 and 5 full days with any potential candidate and teach the theory behind all that we do. The carer will learn about the company, the legalities of care, policies and procedures and learn mandatory theory behind care as a career. All training is delivered by our in-house trainer who can then assess the competencies of all staff against our clients needs.

Stage 5 - Shadowing & Induction Period

Our staff once they have been signed off by our trainer are then provisionally offered a job within the company pending sign off of their practical elements. We have skilled care coaches who are the only people in the company who will carry out practical training with clients, they will take carers around with them, introduce them to clients, run through the routines, and sign the carers off for a range of key areas including safety meal preparation, promoting dignity, and going the extra mile.

Stage 6 - Sign off & Official Job Offer Letter

Once the carer has completed their passport they have a final meeting with the manager who signs them off for everything else after speaking to clients, their relatives, and the care coaches.
